Birthdays, Cookies, Valentines

Wednesday was my 35th birthday ... wow 35 years flies by. Thank you Ashley for having cake and presents with help from the girls when I got home from work. Thank you every one for the birthday wishes. Unfortunately it was not a good night for Mykaela because of a combination of things, involved crying, being over tired and not wanting to participate in dance class.

Mallory started selling girl scout cookies on Saturday. She is selling until the end of March, made a pretty good dent on the first weekend but of course I picked up some more this week so have a few more boxes to go through. Let us know if you need any :) We will be out delivering again this weekend.

At the birthday party on Friday the girls picked up these vampire teeth.

They have also been having a good time making valentine decorations and valentine cards.

Marshall's Milestones

In the last week Marshall's top two teeth have popped through and yesterday he started 'crawling' at least a variation of crawling. Time to find a new gate for the top of the stairs. Watch out Mykaela and Mallory your brother will soon be able to get to anything you leave on the floor. Hope to get a video up soon.

Busy

BUSY ... That basically sums things up for us lately. Doesn't help that we have the girls in 3 activites right now, 4 for Mallory with Girl Scouts.
Monday nights swimming, Wednesday nights dance, Saturday mornings ice skating. Every third tuesdsay is Girl Scouts and then there are usually one or two Girl Scout activites between that. Some how Tuesday and Thursday nights seem to get filled with this or that as well.
Last friday Mallory's school had family fun night, Saturday we had ice skating and Owen's birthday party. Check out http://aspechtacularlife.blogspot.com/ for pictures of the guitar cake I made for Owen (with some help from Mallory and Mykaela). Sunday we had Jake's birthday party and then off to the Water Park of America from 4 - 7. It was a girl scout sponsored activity and they closed down the park for our group. With a discount price of $10 a person pretty good deal. The girls had a great time, I don't think I would pay full price to go but glad we had a chance to check it out ... maybe we will go again next year :)
Tonight we are off to meet with a Church to see about getting Marshall baptised then stopping to pick up Mallory's girl scout cookies so she can start selling them on Saturday.
