Cosmo 2/11/02 - 3/26/12

We said goodbye to Cosmo on Monday. It was a tough decision but realize it was for the best. In late February we brought him in to see why he stopped using his back left leg. The x-rays showed a lesion that they suspected was cancer based on similar cases. Over the next month he moved less and less, ate less and less, and his leg swelled up rather large becoming very apparent that our Cosmo would never be the same :(

We had wonderful times with Cosmo that we will remember always. He was a great companion and was wonderful with the kids. It is still taking some adjustment for Kirk and I not to call for him, no barking when someone comes to the door, no big dog lying in the hallway or at the side of the bed, a happy dog wagging to great you when you get home.
