Another busy week has passed quickly.
Mykaela had a field trip to the zoo with Erin, my Dad, Kathy and Olivia on Thursday. Mallory still wants to go with Erin my offer to take her wasn't good enough. Thursday night we headed to the Spechts for dinner and the kids had a blast playing outside. Jason was working on putting together the new swing/play set and the kids couldn't wait to try it out. All Mykaela would ask after that day was when can we go back and swing on the glider since that was the one thing that wasn't up before we left. I was on a mission to find a gilder of our own over the weekend and was finally successful, fleet farm to the rescue, the girls love it and is great because they can both be on it at the same time.
Friday evening the girls and I headed to the Family Story Time sponsored by River Hills Nursery School (where Mykaela will go next year) it was a free event with games, prizes, story reading, a bounce house and a book fair. Mykaela was a little shy at first but then started to have fun. They each came home with a hard cover book and stuffed animal compliments of Kohls.
Saturday morning Mykaela and I ventured out to get her glasses fixed. I was surprised how quickly they were able to fix them and even happier that it was free. Saturday afternoon we stopped over at the neighbors to celebrate Vincent's 2nd birthday. It was nice seeing some of the neighbors again. We even brought the bounce house over (on a side note found the missing cover, it was inside th bounce house :) )
Sunday the girls went to Sunday school and I stopped to ask Pastor Walt about the baptism. We are still on for the 22nd just need to set up a time to discuss the baptism and get the information for Owen and Olivia turned in. I was also reminded that the girls have a church concert next Sunday at 3:00 The rest of the day we spent outside playing, riding on the new glider swing and a much needed trip for groceries. Unfortunately both Marshall and Mykaela are coming down with another cold. Tonight we proped up Marshall's mattress I am hoping that helps him with his breathing tonight ...
I have pictures but will have to post later when Kirk is done playing video games :)
